European Parliament hosts meeting on mental health and minors

On Tuesday 24 March 2026, starting at 10.00 am, a session concerning mental health, prevention in the digital age, and the protection of minors takes place in the Library, Spinelli 5D, in the European Parliament in Brussels. The event brings together European politicians, healthcare providers, researchers, and digital specialists to discuss a topic that remains high on the political agenda. This gathering focuses on the use of digital tools and human expertise in safeguarding the well-being of the youngest generations.

Organization of the meeting

The session is organized by Agency Tech Solution – LENU. The host for the event is Ștefan Mușoiu, a Member of the European Parliament. The moderation of the discussions is managed by Andreea Marin, who serves as a UNICEF Ambassador. The opening session starts at 10.00 am and concludes at 10.20 am, featuring contributions from both Ștefan Mușoiu and Andreea Marin.

European and national contributions

Between 10.20 am and 10.50 am, the program shifts toward European and national policy visions. Participants include Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, and Victor Negrescu, Vice-President of the European Parliament. They are joined by Alexandru Rogobete, the Minister of Health of the Romanian Government. Further contributions come from Members of the European Parliament Vasile Dîncu, Andi Cristea, and Adrian George Axinia.

Digital vision of the organizers

From 10.50 am to 11.00 am, the organizers share their perspectives on digital innovation. This segment features Adrian Branco Raicovici, founder and CEO of AIGENCY TECHSOLUTION S.R.L., and Adrian Ioan Buda, co-founder and CMO of the same organization. They discuss the future of digital developments within the context of the European landscape.

Healthcare research and technology

A panel discussion follows regarding academic leadership and the digital transition within mental healthcare. Professor Ana Maria Alexandra Stanescu participates in her capacity as the national representative of Romania at the European General Practice Research Network and head of the Family Medicine department at the Dr. Carol Davila Central Military Emergency University Hospital. She also acts as the chairperson of the family medicine committee within the Ministry of Health. Maria Smith, a psychotherapeutic consultant recognized by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and honorary president of ROconect, joins the panel as well.

The list of speakers is further supplemented by Dr. Panait Laura Marina of the Research & Innovation Foundation and Dr. Alin Bob of OncoNav. Representation from the sports and management sectors includes Bogdan Nicolae Enache from the National Agency for Sport and Dan Alexa of Politehnica Timișoara.
